and last but not least the wine capital of the World!

With a population of approximately 730,000 inhabitants, Bordeaux and the Aquitaine region have grown rapidly in recent years. This growth has been accompanied by strong economic development and the city now boasts an ambitious urban development scheme, fast and modern public transport and is a key player in the future of technology and industries (aeronautics, lasers, materials, health, agronomy etc.)

Capital of south west France, Bordeaux is home to dedicated football and rugby teams. Less than an hour away, there are the sunny beaches of the Atlantic coast and the rolling landscapes of the region’s famous vineyards. Further south lie the historic and cultural treasures of the Pays Basque and the Pyrenees. In a nutshell, Bordeaux is a great place to live, study, play sport and socialize!
